MOUTHWASHING developer Wrong Organ has announced Carcass Clad, a three-person cooperative tank horror game where players must work as a team to maneuver a tank through a war-torn city. It will be available for PC via Steam. A release date was not announced.

Key Features

• Cooperative Role-Based Gameplay – All three crew members play a unique role in operating the Yksio, each having a set of immersive tactile interactions. If you fail to balance your share of the responsibilities, the whole vehicle will come grinding to a halt as your enemies overwhelm you.
• Resource-Driven Survival – Your tank runs on what you can find and what you’re willing to risk retrieving. Fuel and ammunition are scarce. Players must scavenge and make difficult decisions to keep moving. A small misjudgement may cost the crew dearly.
• Tactical Combat – Engage in tense, deliberate encounters where survival depends on the coordination of your crew. Knowing when to press your luck and when to disengage is as important as hitting your shots.
• Atmospheric Horror – The Yksio is a claustrophobic box of rusted metal and grinding gears. But only inside its walls is safe from the horrors of Vhorgorod. Stay alert. Keep moving. If you don’t, you’ll discover what’s dwelling here – and become a part of it.

Roles

• Commander / Kanerva
  • Kanerva wanted above all an easy and glamorous life until the encroaching war forced her to enlist. Now the promise of a return to normalcy pushes her to become a ruthless commander.
  • Visibility in the Yksio is extremely limited. As Kanerva, you are the eyes and ears of the tank. Use your periscope to identify and range targets. Listen to your radio and chart safe routes through the city, locate useful items and potential threats. Keep a cool head, especially during combat. The tank and your crew survive by your orders.
• Gunner / Erkki
  • A lackadaisical man more accustomed to survival within dodgy gambling dens than the battlefield, gunner Erkki’s aim is as sharp as his wit.
  • Make every shot count. As Erkki, you’re responsible for the Yksio’s lumbering 158mm cannon. Use the inventory carousel to process scavenged supplies and refuel the tank. Keep your scanner trained towards potential threats. Load, aim, and at the perfect moment, fire from your scarce ammo supply. The enemy is protected, hit them where it hurts.
• Driver / Taisto
  • Content with a simple life in the Savori countryside, the draft forced Taisto to switch from rickety homespun rally cars to the Yksio’s 70 tons of steel.
  • Powerful but unwieldy, the Yksio is an extremely easy target when handled carelessly. As Taisto, fire up your V10 engine to manoeuvre over Vhorgorod’s crumbled remains. Closely manage fuel consumption and allocate power across the tank. Know when to hold steady for a perfect shot and when to shift into high gear and out-flank the enemy. They’ll be trying to do the same thing to you.
