Wandering Sword for PS5 delayed to January 21, 2027 alongside Xbox Series, Switch 2, and Switch versions

3D pixel Wuxia RPG delayed one week ahead of planned release.

Publishers Clouded Leopard Entertainment and Spiral Up Games, and developer The Swordman Studio will have delayed the PlayStation 5 version of 3D pixel Wuxia RPG Wandering Sword from its previously planned May 28 release date to January 21, 2027. The Switch 2 and Switch versions, which were previously planned to launch sometime after the PlayStation 5 version, will now launch alongside the PlayStation 5 version. A newly announced Xbox Series version will also launch that day.

According to Clouded Leopard Entertainment, the delay in release is due to adjustments in the release schedule for the physical edition.

Despite being dated and confirmed for a physical release back in November 2025, the PlayStation 5 version of Wandering Sword never went up for pre-order at any major retailers. Digital pre-orders are available via PlayStation Store.

Wandering Sword first launched for PC via Steam on September 15, 2023.
