Pocketpair trademarks Palworld Online

Pocketpair recently filed a trademark, including a logo, for “Palworld Online” in the United States and South Korea.

The South Korean trademark was filed on April 24, while the United States trademark was filed on April 27.

Palworld already supports online multiplayer, either through four-player cooperative play sessions in a personal save file, or in 32-player dedicated servers.

While Pocketpair itself has yet to share any official information regarding “Palworld Online,” the trademark could be connected to the game’s version 1.0 release, which is due out in 2026. It could simply serve as branding for the game’s existing multiplayer mode, similar to Grand Theft Auto Online.

A mobile Palworld game is also under development by KRAFTON and PUBG Studios, but it already has an official title of Palworld Mobile.

Palworld first launched in Early Access for Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store on January 19, 2024, followed by PlayStation 5 on September 24, 2024.
