Historical science-fiction game set in an alternate Showa era.
C2Architecture, the studio behind Kantai Collection, is developing Ki-Gou Keikaku, a new historical science-fiction strategy RPG for PC and mobile, the developer announced.
The fully 3D game is set in an alternate Showa era and features new systems that prioritize communication. Mechs will also appear. Main character designs were done by Konishi and Shibafu.

According to C2Architecture, Ki-Gou Keikaku was in the works before Kantai Collection, but was put on hold after Kantai Collection‘s unexpectedly popularity, which kept the studio busy. However, development has been steadily progressing for the past few years and it has grown into a large-scale project.
The upcoming projects page on C2Architecture’s official website also mentions that the studio has other new intellectual property projects in the works outside of Kantai Collection and Ki-Gou Keikaku. This may include non-game content such as the spring 2025 theatrical production Kantai Collection “Operation Rei-Go 1944.”
