Multiplayer extraction action game THE CUBE, SAVE US will launch in Early Access for PC via Steam on March 18, developer XLGAMES announced.
Following a recent “Server Slam” test, XLGAMES has made various improvements to the user interface and user experience, as well as overall optimization. The test results are also being used to further ensure gameplay stability ahead of launch.
The Early Access version will introduce a variety of new enemy content, including a new boss mutant named “Yaksha,” as well as dedicated elite and boss-exclusive equipment systems. Additional gameplay expansion features, such as Steam achievements and a non-player characters affinity system, will also be available.
“We are excited to enjoy and further develop the game together with players through this Early Access launch,” said producer Youngsung Park in a press release. “Having confirmed the game’s unique appeal through multiple tests, we look forward to delivering a meaningful Early Access experience.”

THE CUBE, SAVE US is an action-packed, close-combat extraction game set in a post-apocalyptic world. Pass each of the cube gates that presents its own surroundings and monsters. Survive the mutants and fellow raiders in close combat and come out on top by escaping the cube.
Story
It was an era where the New Cold War loomed over the world, a time where the tiniest spark would have been all it took to tip the balance and start something ugly.
It was then that the giant cube suddenly appeared in the sky.
What followed was quick and deadly. Global superpowers mistook it as an escalation, and soon, civilizations crumbled under nuclear warheads.
Several decades passed. When the last survivors finally mustered up the courage to resurface, the cube that was still hovering in the sky swallowed them whole.
The cube proved to be a two-edged sword.
Those who survived it came back with everything they needed to keep on surviving, while most never returned.
As it is, you are left with two options.
Will you face the cubes, or will you simply perish?
The Versatile Worlds of Cubes
The cube in THE CUBE, SAVE US is made up of 27 versatile pieces or fragments.
Each time you pass a cube gate, the surroundings and mutants get shifted to keep you on edge.
Be it downtown, a pyramid, an amusement park… You will need to find weapons and escape routes to protect you in unpredictable circumstances.
Fight and Survive
As soon as you enter the cube, you will find yourself being targeted by vicious mutants and fellow raiders, the latter group doing what they do to survive—much like you.
Use everything you know about close combat to fight and to survive.
Utilize skills, especially in critical moments.
Remember. Too much sparing of skills and supplies can get you killed.
The Raiders’ Lair: New Cinderfall
In “New Cinderfall,” a settlement founded by raiders who escaped the injustices of rangers, people with stories cheer on as raiders head toward the cube.
Interact with them to learn how to better survive, to unveil the secrets hidden across the post-apocalyptic world.
