Total worldwide sales for Lies of P have surpassed four million units, publisher NEOWIZ and developer Round8 Studio announced.
Lies of P launched for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC via Steam and Microsoft Store, and Mac via Mac App Store on September 19, 2023, and sold three million units by June 2025. A major downloadable content expansion, “Overture,” launched on June 6, 2025.
“Reaching this milestone is an incredibly meaningful moment for the Lies of P team,” said a NEOWIZ representative in a press release. “The enthusiasm and passion the global community has shown for this title continues to inspire us, and we’re grateful to see players around the world discover and embrace our dark, reimagined take on Pinocchio’s story.”

Launched in September 2023, Lies of P is a single-player action RPG in the Souls-like genre, set in the late 19th-century Belle Époque era. A unique world adapted from the classic Italian tale ‘Pinocchio,’ the title features realistic graphical depictions of highly detailed characters and backgrounds, as well as excellent action gameplay.
“Overture,” released in June 2025, is the dramatic prequel that transports players back to the city of Krat in its final days of haunting late-19th-century Belle Epoque beauty. Audiences will experience untold stories and chilling secrets that shape the past and future of Lies of P, while unlocking an arsenal of weapon combinations and Legion Arms that provide unprecedented freedom to forge unique combat styles.
The beloved Soulslike Lies of P and its expansion “Overture” continue to receive strong recognition from both players and critics. The base game has been categorized as one of the standout Soulslike titles of recent years, and the downloadable content has garnered several industry awards, including Best Downloadable Content at the 15th New York Game Awards, Best Game Expansion at the Golden Joystick Awards, Best Downloadable Content or Expansion from the Lenovo 3DJuegos Awards, Best Expansion from the Flow Games Awards and the Excellence & Technical Creativity Award from the Korea Game Awards.
