BlazBlue: Entropy Effect X ‘Extreme Zone’ trailer, screenshots

Publisher Astrolabe Games and developer 91Act have released a new trailer and screenshots for BlazBlue: Entropy Effect X revealing the 2D action roguelite game‘s “Extreme Zone” mode, where bosses Takemikazuchi and Hades: Izanami can be challenged.

As the most challenging mode in BlazBlue: Entropy Effect X, Extreme Zone can only be unlocked after players reach specific progression milestones. Designed as the ultimate test for players seeking both combat intensity and the sense of accomplishment, players will descend into the deepest reaches of the Sea of Possibility, gaining access to the final stage available only in this mode – the Void. More than ten powerful elite enemies may appear at random throughout this stage.
One certainty remains, however: Takemikazuchi and Hades: Izanami await all challengers at the end of the Void, ready to deliver the ultimate challenge.
BlazBlue: Entropy Effect is due out for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Switch on February 12. A demo is available now for PlayStation 5 and Switch.
