Mahou Arms launches April 27 [Update: Delayed to July 27]
Hack-and-slash action game leaving Early Access after six years.
Anime-inspired character-action hack-and-slash action game Mahou Arms will leave Early Access and launch for PC via Steam on April 27, publisher Sekai Project and developer Dischan Media announced.
Update 04/10/26: Sekai Project and Dischan Media have delayed Mahou Arms by three months to July 27. “The game is 99.9 percent done and we are extremely pleased with the progress that has been made lately,” Dischan Media said. “Finally being able to play the game from start to end is very satisfying and fun, but it has made it obvious where the game still has room to improve. To release the game now would be putting out a ‘good’ game, but there are so many small things that could be improved in three months to turn it from ‘good’ to ‘great.’ To not put in the extra time it deserves would be a disservice to all the hard work that got us here.”
Mahou Arms first launched in Early Access on April 28, 2020. When it leaves Early Access, the price will increase from $29.99 by around $10.
Dischan Media is also planning to add alternative outfits for characters Aemlia and Susan, which will be free for Early Access players.
