
CangMo Game Entertainment has released the first gameplay trailer and screenshots for A Whisper of Fall: Jinyiwei, the PlayStation China Hero Project-supported action RPG previously known as Project: Jinyiwei. It will be available for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and WeMade when it launches. A release date has yet to be announced.

A Whisper of Fall: Jinyiwei is a martial arts-themed action RPG set in ancient China. In the game, You can use your agility to leap between rooftops and vault over walls, engage in a spectacular martial arts duel with your opponent, and even counter every move, experience the grudges and emotional entanglements of the jianghu—the unique world of martial artists. Additionally, in the game, you will be able to use the unique “deduction” ability to travel through time in each sandbox-style level, retrace different scenario, and thus experience the distinctive gameplay of overlapping possibilities.
In A Whisper of Fall: Jinyiwei, you play as an ordinary boatman, due to an unexpected incident, you are forced to infiltrate the Jinyiwei (Imperial Guards of the Ming Dynasty) as an undercover agent for the black market.
Within the Jinyiwei, you hone your martial arts skills and carry out missions for the Imperial Guard Bureau while also completing tasks assigned by the black market. As the investigation into cases deepens, you catch a glimpse of a massive conspiracy.
You must use your unique “deduction” ability to foresee the future, maneuvering among different factions to survive and finding your own answers amid the chaos of possibilities.
Explore the late Ming Dynasty, a time when the empire is on the brink of collapse, and immerse yourself in the Wuxia world of Chinese Ming Dynasty. Seek survival through your choices and glimpse the path ahead after rising and falling.
As a knight-errant, you can sneak, walk on walls, and leap between rooftops, engaging enemies in combat, and experience the traditional martial arts world’s conflicts, friendships, and vendettas.
As a Jinyiwei, you can solve cases with a few words, interrogate suspects repeatedly, and use your “deduction” ability to quickly identify the true culprit and send them to jail.
Caught in the whirlpool of conspiracy, will you choose to become a knight-errant who fights for the nation and its people, a bureaucrat content with a corner of peace, or perhaps find another path?
The choice is entirely yours.
