Sucker Punch Productions co-founder Brian Fleming departs
Longtime creative and technical leaders Jason Connell and Adrian Bentley to serve as co-studio heads.
Sucker Punch Productions co-founder Brian Fleming will leave the studio after three decades, passing the reigns over to new studio heads and longtime creative and technical leaders Jason Connell and Adrian Bentley, Sony Interactive Entertainment announced.
“Over the past year, Brian has worked closely with PlayStation Studios to ensure that Sucker Punch was in the best hands moving forward with a strong foundation for the studio’s continued success,” Sony Interactive Entertainment said in the announcement. “Starting January 1, longtime creative and technical leaders Jason Connell and Adrian Bentley will step into new roles as studio heads, continuing to guide the team’s focus on ambitious, character-driven experiences that define PlayStation Studios.”
Connell served as the co-creative director on the Ghost franchise, while Bentley led the studio’s engineering and production efforts as technical director.
Nate Fox will continue to serve as Sucker Punch Productions’ co-creative director.
According to Sony Interactive Entertainment, Sucker Punch Productions “remains dedicated to crafting new adventures that capture the imagination of players everywhere.”
