Eclipse Glow Games has released a new gameplay trailer and screenshots for Arthurian legend-inspired fantasy action adventure game Tides of Annihilation dubbed “Break the Mirror.”

“We’ve created a world that reimagines Arthurian Legend where themes of courage, loyalty, and heroism intertwine with an epic story set in a strange-yet-familiar setting that will test the mettle of true gamers and push the genre forward,” said Kun Fu, Lead Game Producer at Eclipse Glow Games. “We are thrilled to share the next chapter of Gwendolyn’s journey, and this is only the beginning.”

What is Tides of Annihilation?

Tides of Annihilation is an action adventure game set in a modern-day, invasion-fractured London and mysterious otherworld realm, where the lone survivor, Gwendolyn, seeks the Holy Grail to rescue her sister and restore the world.
Who are the main characters featured in this new trailer?
The trailer features Gwendolyn, the main character in the game. She faces off against the powerful shape-shifting witch Tyronoe and is assisted by spear-wielding Sir Lamorak, a Knight of the Roundtable.
What is the story behind this new Tides of Annihilation Trailer?
As Gwendolyn continues her quest to rescue her sister and restore humanity, she will encounter different stories and conflicts behind Knights of the Roundtable and the evils behind this otherworldly invasion. This includes uncovering the truth behind Sir Lamorak, whose suffering is caused by the witch Tyronoe. This leads Gwendolyn to the church ruins where the fight takes place with Tyronoe.
When Lamarok comes to help the main character Gwendolyn, it looks like the player is able to control Lamorak. Is this a new part to the Knights system in the game?
One of the key unique features of the game is the Knights System where Gwendolyn can summon and command spectral knights to attack during battle. Part of this Knights System is being revealed for the first time in the new trailer called the Dual Frontline Battle System. This system shows the ability to control both Gwendolyn and Lamorak to simultaneously attack Tyronoe and break down her magical barriers.
How many Knights will be featured in the game and will we see other named Knights of the Roundtable like Gawain or Lancelot?
Through her quest for the Holy Grail, Gwendolyn will be able to find several knights to summon and command in the game, including notable Knights of the Roundtable from Arthurian mythology. More details including the number and names of Knights will be disclosed in the future, please stay tuned!
The main boss Tyronoe creates a mirror-like Folded Realm in the trailer- can you explain what is a Folded Realm in the game?
The Folded Realm is a mysterious story element in Tides of Annihilation and Gwendolyn will encounter different types of these otherworldly realms throughout the game. Tyronoe is one of few characters that can travel between the human world and this Mirror Folded Realm she creates, and can make use of powerful magic energies from this Mirror Realm. More details of the Folded Realm will be revealed soon!
When is Tides of Annihilation launching on PC and consoles?
Tides of Annihilation will be releasing on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5 consoles. A release date has not been announced at this time.
