DAVE THE DIVER now available for Xbox Series and Xbox One; physical edition announced for PS5 and Switch 2

MINTROCKET has released an Xbox Series version of single-player adventure RPG DAVE THE DIVER via Microsoft Store for $19.99, the developer announced. The PC version is also now available via Microsoft Store. A physical edition is coming to PlayStation 5 and Switch 2 in 2026 via distributor Silver Lining Interactive, which will include the upcoming downloadable content “In the Jungle.”

DAVE THE DIVER previously launched for PlayStation 5, Switch 2, PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. The major downloadable content “In the Jungle” is currently in development and due out in early 2026.

“For Dave, Xbox is the final frontier, and we’re thrilled to welcome Xbox Series players into the adventure today,” said game director Jaeho Hwang in a press release. “Fans around the world have embraced Dave and his wonderfully chaotic crew, and we can’t wait for a whole new community to dive not only into the base game, but the DLCs that have helped shape the game world into one that keeps fans coming back.”

Xbox players have immediate access to all available downloadable content expansions, including the DREDGE content pack, which adds an ominous red fog that, when active, enables Dave to catch underwater aberrations that can then be served to mysterious hooded visitors at Bancho Sushi; the Godzilla content pack, which brings Godzilla’s disastrous presence to the Blue Hole forcing Dave to pursue the legendary kaiju while battling Ebirah in a submarine, and collecting rare ingredients for new Godzilla-inspired dishes; and the “Ichiban’s Holiday” downloadable content, which introduces Ichiban Kasuga and other characters from the Yakuza series with new missions, minigames, and karaoke.

DAVE THE DIVER, which enjoyed global critical acclaim upon its Steam Early Access launch in 2022 and subsequent 1.0 release in 2023, is a charming single-player adventure RPG hybrid that has since released on additional platforms including PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 1, Nintendo Switch 2, and now for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One. The game follows Dave through his adventures in the mysterious abyss that is the Blue Hole, an ever changing underwater oasis teeming with life… and peril.

Downloadable Content: “In the Jungle”

Included in today’s announcement is a sneak peek at the upcoming “In the Jungle” downloadable content, the largest expansion to date that adds a brand new story. “In the Jungle” brings Dave out of the Blue Hole and onto dry land with a new jungle biome and freshwater environments teeming with new fish, ingredients, friends (and foes), and a host of new adventures with the familiar crew of Bancho, Cobra, Dr. Bacon, and more.

Dave will team up with jungle locals to explore the mysterious lake surrounding the island on which the new village resides. New storylines, mini-games, and recipes await players when the downloadable content launches in early 2026.
