
Publisher Team17 and developer Ghost Town Games have announced Overcooked! 2 – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition. It will launch this winter for $29.99 / £24.99 / €29.99. Users who own the Switch version will be able to upgrade to the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition for $9.99 / £7.99 / €9.99.
Overcooked! 2 first launched for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, PC, Mac, and Linux on August 7, 2018, followed by Luna on October 20, 2020, Xbox Series on November 10, 2020, and PlayStation 5 on November 12, 2020. The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series versions are available via the Overcooked! All You Can Eat, which includes both Overcooked! and Overcooked! 2 and all downloadable content. Overcooked! All You Can Eat is also available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.

Chefs will still be able to play with Nintendo Switch players and any downloadable content you already own will remain. For those worrying about save files, have no fear as progression can be transferred back and forth between both platforms.
