Publishers Aniplex and SEGA, and developer CyberConnect2 have released the pre-launch trailer for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles 2, introducing the game’s Entertainment District Arc, Swordsmith Village Arc, and Hashira Training Arc, as well as the Hashira as playable fighters.
The companies also announced that Muzan Kibutsuji will be added to the game as a playable character in VS Mode via a free post-launch update. The paid downloadable content “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Infinity Castle Character Pass” was also announced.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles 2 is due out for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam on August 1 in Japan and August 5 in the west.
