“Shibuya Live-Action Adventure Game” from Jiro Ishii officially titled Shibuya Scramble Stories
Crowdfunding campaign achieves 670 percent of funding goal.
The new “Shibuya Live-Action Adventure Game” from game designer and 428: Shibuya Scramble executive producer Jiro Ishii will be titled Shibuya Scramble Stories, Ishii announced during an emergency press conference held today.
Alongside the title reveal, Ishii announced that development will officially begin with the support of over 33.5 million yen in crowdfunding (670 percent of its five million yen funding goal) and the sponsorship of a certain company.
An official announcement is currently being prepared, and while the timing is still to be determined, Ishii said that he may be able to make the announcement on July 13.
Additionally, it was announced that Kousei Amano, who played Shinya Kano in 428: Shibuya Scramble, and Yuto Nakamura, who played Achi Endo in 428: Shibuya Scramble, will be joining the previously announced cast of Shibuya Scramble Stories. Aya Kamiki, who sang the theme song “Sekai wa Sore Demo Kawari wa Shinai” for 428: Shibuya Scramble, will also return Shibuya Scramble Stories‘ theme song.
Platforms and a release date for Shibuya Scramble Stories are still to be announced.
