Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon launches May 23
Version 1.0 release to implement third-person view.
Open-world action RPG Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon will leave Early Access and launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam on May 23, publisher Awaken Realms and developer Awaken Realms Digital announced.
Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon first launched in Early Access for PC via Steam on March 30, 2023.
The version 1.0 release feature the following content:
- Third-person view
- Access to the full game! Three huge regions to explore (Misty Horns of the South, Cuanacht bathed in sun, and snowy Forlorn Swords)
- 50 to 70 hours of gameplay
- Full, branching main story quest with hundreds of different endings
- Over 200 side quests
- Over 250 unique NPCs
- Over 400 unique weapons, including shields
- Over 55 unique spells and 14 soul cubes
- Over 75 dungeons
- Over 100 unique enemies, including variants

Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon is a dark fantasy, open world RPG full of quests, loot, choices, and monsters, set on a bleak island on the verge of ruin.
King Arthur is long dead and all the myths and legends are falling. Humans living in Avalon are desperately trying to find new ways of life and things to believe in. The plague of Red Death and the spreading Wyrdness are not helping. Time is running out and multiple factions have their own plan for the future of the island…
In this realm, slowly but surely sinking into chaos, you find yourself imprisoned in a damp, underground cell. At this point, you’re nobody, but who knows—you might just be the one who brings a spark of change to this land of everlasting Autumn.
