GSC Game World has delayed S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl from its previously planned September 5 release date to November 20. It will be available for Xbox Series and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG, as well as via Xbox Game Pass.
“We know you might be tired of waiting, and we truly appreciate your patience,” said GSC Game World director Yevhen Grygorovych in a press release. “These two additional months will give us the chance to fix more ‘unexpected anomalies’ (or simply ‘bugs,’ as you call them). We are always grateful for your ongoing support and understanding—it means the world to us. We’re just as eager as you are to finally release the game and for you to experience it for yourself.”
A S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl Developer Deep Dive will premiere in collaboration with Xbox on August 12, featuring never before seen content including interviews and behind the scenes of the development process, as well as “lots” of new footage such as a world overview, various locations, gameplay, and cutscenes, and a full walkthrough of one of the story quests.
