According to the outlet’s sources, the aim is to produce fewer titles at a higher quality.
When contacted by GamesIndustry.biz, a PLAION representative told the outlet that the restructuring is part of “simplfying our publishing operations” and will likely only affect around five to six jobs.
The company also clarified that this is not an immediate change, but part of a process that will take up to 12 months. Titles may still be published under the Deep Silver, Prime Matter, and Ravenscourt labels “over the next couple of years.”
