The PlayStation 5 and PlayStation VR2 launch of Tetris Effect: Connected on February 22 will ship alongside a new update for all platforms that includes a host of new game modes, publisher Enhance and developers Monstars, Resonair, and Stage Games announced.
The new modes are as follows:
- Classic Score Attack – A single-player version is now available in Effect Modes (NTSC/PAL Game Speed included).
- Zone Marathon – A version of Marathon Mode with the Zone mechanic.
- Purify Mode – Endless is now an option in Purify Mode.
- Master Mode – Endless is now an option in Master Mode.
Enhance also released an explainer video featuring a first look at the new modes, as well as interviews with professional players Yoshimi and Blink.
Tetris Effect: Connected is available now for Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, PlayStation VR, Xbox One, Switch, PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, Quest via Oculus Store, and Luna.
