Publishers XSEED Games and Marvelous Europe will release Rune Factory 5 for PC via Steam on July 13 for $59.99, the companies announced. Pre-orders are currently available at a 15 percent-off discount price of $50.99, which will decrease to a 10 percent launch week discount price once the game launches. A Digital Deluxe Edition featuring 13 exclusive outfits inspired by Rune Factory 4 will also be available for $69.99 with the same discounts.
Rune Factory 5 first launched for Switch on May 20, 2021 in Japan, followed by March 22, 2022 in North America and March 25 in Europe.
The PC version will include visual updates and new customization options. Both English and Japanese audio options will be available. Users who own Rune Factory 4 Special on Steam will also receive a special bonus in Rune Factory 5 in addition to outfits inspired by past protagonists Lest and Frey—fan-favorites Doug and Margaret will come to live in Rigbarth as guest NPCs.
