The publisher also announced the game’s pre-order bonuses and limited edition for Japan. Users who pre-order or purchase the 7,980 yen physical edition of Relayer early enough will receive a product code for the downloadable content “Tera’s Rare Item Set,” which includes armor and a custom chip that can be equipped to your mecha, job points (for character development), and Star Gold (in-game currency).
The 9,980 yen limited edition will include the aforementioned “Tera’s Rare Item Set,” as well as a 15-track soundtrack and 100-page art book. Additionally, Amazon.co.jp and GEO will offer bonus downloadable content sets (“Shining Series Set” and “Lightning Series Set,” respectively).
Relayer is due out for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 on February 17, 2022 in Japan. It will support English, Japanese, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Traditional Chinese, and Korean language options.
Publisher Clouded Leopard Entertainment also previously announced plans for a simultaneous release in North America, Europe, and Asia when the game was still due out in 2021, but has yet to confirm whether that is still planned following the game’s delay to 2022.
