Kerbal Space Program Enhanced Edition

Publisher Private Division and developer Squad will release Kerbal Space Program Enhanced Edition for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series this fall for $39.99, the companies announced. Users who already own the game for PlayStation 4 or Xbox One will receive a free upgrade.

The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series versions will offer an upgraded resolution, improved framerate, advanced shaders, better textures, and additional performance improvements. It runs at 1440p on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, and 1080p on Xbox Series S. The additional system memory also results in a more stable game experience, as well as allows for an increase in part count on player’s crafts and contraptions.

The companies also announced that Kerbal Space Program 2 will be available for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series alongside its previously announced PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC (Steam and more) versions when it launches in 2022.

Kerbal Space Program is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.
