Resident Evil Village moves another 35,045 copies on PlayStation 4.

Famitsu Sales: 5/10/21 – 5/16/21

Famitsu has published its estimated physical game software and hardware sales data for Japan for the week of May 10, 2021 to May 16, 2021.

Resident Evil Village for PlayStation 4 was the top selling software of the week, moving an additional 35,045 retail copies. The only new release to chart in the top 10 was Famicom Detective Club: The Girl Who Stands Behind + The Missing Heir for Switch, which opened at 12,269 retail sales.

On the hardware side, the Switch family sold 95,411 units, the PlayStation 5 family sold 14,044 units, the PlayStation 4 family sold 1,226 units, and the Xbox Series family sold 1,183 units. Next-generation consoles continue to face stock issues.
