New Challenge: A Beast of Peril Falling From the Sky
Red skin, blank face, six feet, and a pair of huge wings on its back. Is it a bird or a beast? When it spreads its wings, the sky is barely visible. And beware of its wing strike that can generate a strong gale.
Use the “Guard Stone” to fast travel to the Flourish Cave, where you can then challenge this most worthy rival face-to… well, it does not seem to have a face.
—Hundun is one of the most famous fantastic beasts in Chinese mythology.
New Game Mode: Zhuolu Chess
Want to play more Zhuolu Chess? You can play it as much as you want now. As a popular mini-game in Xuan-Yuan Sword VII, Zhuolu Chess is critically acclaimed. Now You can play this fantastic chess game directly in the new Zhuolu Chess game mode, without running a long way to the NPCs scattered around the map.
There are four titles in Zhuolu Chess: “Novice,” “Expert,” “Master,” and “Grand Master.” The more games you win, the greater the title you achieve.
—Now you can play Zhuolu Chess as much as you want in the new game mode.
New Game Mode: Arena of Legacy
For those with a thirst for battle, here comes the Arena of Legacy. The difficulty is always set to Nightmare in the Arena. If that is not enough, there are 50 floors waiting for you to challenge. You will begin your challenge with no companions or any items you acquired from the normal game. It will drive your combat skill to the limit. But worry not, you will get some Nightmare Coins after you finish a floor which can be used to buy items or summon the companions to help you go on.
Only the best swordsman can step onto the top of this Arena. If you’re yearning for the most challenging combat, you shouldn’t miss this.
