Bandai Namco has delayed The Idolmaster: Starlit Season from its previously planned 2020 release window to 2021 in Japan due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the company announced during its “The Idolmaster: Starlit Season Starlit Report” live stream. It will be available for PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam.

Free Time: Bond Communication

Meet up with idols in your free time. In Free Time Bond Communication, you can enjoy a story with each idol. Resolve the idols’ troubles as a producer and help them grow to deepen your bonds with each idol and increase your Bond Level. By deepening your bonds and increasing your Bond Level, you can draw out the potential of each idol. During the live stream, a Bond Communication scene with Rinze Morino, and communication scene with twin sisters Ami and Mami Futami and Kirari Moroboshi were shown.

Work

The series’ mainstay “Work” element returns. Take on various work opportunities with the idols. Giving advice to a troubled idol will change the outcome of her work depending on the results of your communication. Smooth communication will result in successful work, earning you the money necessary for producer activities. Make each job a success and earn heaps of money. During the live stream, a work scene with Kaori Sakuramori was shown.

Lesson

The series’ mainstay “Lesson” element also returns. Train your idols vocal, dance, and visual abilities through mini-games. During the program, a dance lesson gameplay scene was shown.
