Horizon Forbidden West and Sackboy: A Big Adventure

Sony Interactive Entertainment will release Guerrilla Games-developed Horizon Forbidden West and Sumo Digital-developed Sackboy: A Big Adventure for PlayStation 4 in addition to PlayStation 5, the company announced.

“While these three games [including Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales] were designed to take advantage of PlayStation 5 and its unique next-gen features like the ultra-high-speed SSD and DualSense controller, PlayStation 4 owners will also be able to enjoy these experiences when they launch,” said Sony Interactive Entertainment president and CEO Jim Ryan. “The PlayStation 4 digital versions of launch games include a free upgrade on both PlayStation 5 consoles, while the PlayStation 4 disc versions of these games include a free upgrade on the PlayStation 5 with Ultra HD Blu-Ray disc drive.”

Sackboy: A Big Adventure is due out on November 12 in North America and Japan and November 19 in Europe. Horizon Forbidden West is due out in 2021.
