Famitsu Sales: 6/29/20 – 7/5/20 [Update]

Famitsu has published its estimated physical game software and hardware sales data for Japan for the week of June 29, 2020 to July 5, 2020.

The Switch version of Catherine: Full Body was the highest selling new game release last week, opening at 6,917 retail sales. To compare, it opened at 51,824 sales on PlayStation 4 and 9,421 sales on PS Vita back in February 2019. Last week’s other two physical game releases—Marvel’s Iron Man VR and Wan Nyan Doubutsu Byouin: Pet o Tasukeru Daiji-na Oshigoto—did not chart in the top 10.

On the hardware side, the Switch family sold 52,250 units, the PlayStation 4 family sold 4,558 units, and the 3DS family sold 933 units.
