Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX and Doraemon: Nobita’s New Dinosaur are the highlights of this week’s Japanese video game releases.
A remake of the 2005-released DS games Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX is a dungeon RPG that puts players in the role of a Pokemon who must meet and recuit other Pokemon to make the Pokemon world a safer place. In doing so, the player will build rescue team camps to house, manage, and train Pokemon, who fight on the field in turn-based battles. New to the remake are Mega Evolved Pokemon, watercolor-inspired graphics, and more.
Doraemon: Nobita’s New Dinosaur is the action adventure game adaptation of the Dorameon franchise’s 40th film of the same name. While the movie itself was originally scheduled to premiere in Japanese theaters alongside the release of the game, its release was postponed due to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus COVID-19.
