PlatinumGames launches ‘Platinum 4’ teaser website [Update 2]
The Wonderful 101? Self-published titles?
PlatinumGames has launched the a teaser website titled “Platinum 4.”
The information text on the website reads, “#Platinum4 site is now open.”
On January 31, PlatinumGames tweeted what appeared to be a The Wonderful 101-related teaser. It showed direcotr Hideki Kamiya, a computer screen with the time and date 1:01 on 10/1, and a Switch.
PlatinumGames also recently announced it received a capital investment from Tencent Holdings to expand into self-publishing.
Update 3:20 p.m.: PlatinumGames has updated the website, seemingly revealing the “Platinum 4” to consist of four projects, the first being the newly announced The Wonderful 101: Remastered.
Update 02/26/20 at 11:30 p.m.: The second and third announcements are hero game Project G.G. directed by Hideki Kamiya and the opening of PlatinumGames Tokyo. Read more here.
