GhostWire: Tokyo creative director Ikumi Nakamura leaves Tango Gameworks

The end of a nine-year journey.

GhostWire: Tokyo

Ikumi Nakamura, the creative director of the E3 2019-announced GhostWire: Tokyo, has left Tango Gameworks, she announced on Twitter.

“After nine years as creative director and art director at Tango and Zenimax, I felt here is one of ends of the journeys,” Nakamura said. “I learned from the talented people I’ve worked with and I respect. Contact me if anyone wants to work with me!”

Nakamura wrote the story, scenario, and character settings for GhostWire: Tokyo, as well as designed character concept art, some creature concept art, the world view key visual, and more. She also had a hand in The Evil Within and The Evil Within 2. Before joining Tango Gameworks, she worked at PlatinumGames as a concept artist on Bayonetta, and before that at Capcom as an environment artist on Okami.
