Ghostwire: Tokyo creative director Ikumi Nakamura leaves Tango Gameworks
The end of a nine-year journey.Ikumi Nakamura, the creative director of the E3 2019-announced Ghostwire: Tokyo, has left Tango Gameworks, she announced on Twitter.
“After nine years as creative director and art director at Tango and Zenimax, I felt here is one of ends of the journeys,” Nakamura said. “I learned from the talented people I’ve worked with and I respect. Contact me if anyone wants to work with me!”
Nakamura wrote the story, scenario, and character settings for Ghostwire: Tokyo, as well as designed character concept art, some creature concept art, the world view key visual, and more. She also had a hand in The Evil Within and The Evil Within 2. Before joining Tango Gameworks, she worked at PlatinumGames as a concept artist on Bayonetta, and before that at Capcom as an environment artist on Okami.
