Welcome Traveller!

Thank you for joining us! We are so glad to have you on our journey!

Do you know that feeling when you’ve been working so long on something and you just cannot wait to share it? That’s exactly how it’s been in the studio this last few weeks. So today we’re really excited to write to you for the first time and show you what we’ve been making!

We hope you like these sketches from the studio. Role-playing together is one of the pillars of the game, so our team of four 2D Artists made these sketches as part of their exploration into the style and feel of the playable characters.

These sketches haven’t been made posted on social media or anywhere else at all… As a Traveller you are behind the scenes of the production of this game and we trust that you treat them with the discretion that you find fitting. If you’d like to bring a friend along, please do! Use the buttons below to point them in the right direction.

We also want to tell you that we’ll be officially announcing the game in September, when we’ll also be revealing another big update that we can’t tell you about just yet!

Best Wishes,
Helen and the Might and Delight Team

Dear Travellers,

Thank you so much for all of the comments and emails about the game! We’re so pleased you like what you’ve seen so far, and we’re very much looking forward to sharing some really big news soon.

Discord Channel Open

The last time we wrote to you, we promised we’d tell you how you could get involved, and today we’re excited to invite you to join a Discord server that’s dedicated to the new game. This server is just for Travellers, and we hope this is a good place to begin conversations—ones that will help us choose directions in the development process as we move forward. If you want to join, go to Discord using this invitation and give us a wave to get a role and chat. We look forward to seeing you there!

Not Exactly an MMO

A key note of this game is the spirit of meetings. Even though it’s an online RPG, this won’t be a conventional MMO. We think of the game as a TMO, a Tiny Multiplayer Online. That’s because while the world itself is massive, there will only be a small amount of players on each server. We don’t want to create a game experience crowded with hundreds of other players, instead each meeting will be a special rather than an ordinary occasion. This also helps to make the game a unique mix of single and multiplayer, where you can choose to adventure together or travel alone.

Official Announcement Soon

Finally, we want to tell you that the game’s official announcement is now set to happen in just less than a month! You’ll get it before anyone else does via this very newsletter. Before then we’ll write to you one last time with more visuals and reveals about the game world.

That’s all for now, thanks again for your interest and feedback so far. If you want to talk about anything you read here, you know where to go! We look forward to hearing your opinions and popping in to say hi.

Best Wishes,
Helen and the Might and Delight Team
