This Week's Japanese Game Releases: Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3, Pro Yakyuu Spirits 2019, more

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order, Pro Yakyuu Spirits 2019, and more highlight this week’s lineup of Japanese game releases.

Developed by Ninja Gaiden studio Team Ninja and published by Nintendo, the Switch-exclusive Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order sees players assemble a team of Marvel Super Heroes from a large roster of characters to defend the galaxy against Thanos and his ruthless warmasters known as The Black Order.

The PlayStation 4 and PS Vita-exclusive Pro Yakyuu Spirits 2019 is the latest entry in Konami’s baseball simulation series, which has not seen a new title since Pro Yakyuu Spirits 2015. The game uses the latest player data, with players that join mid-season planned to be added via free updates. Each player has their own artificial intelligence, reproducing the actions they are likely to take based on their past performance, and 360-degree photographing and 3D data was used to create the character models.
