Developer The Outsiders has lifted the lid on Darkborn, its first-person action fantasy game previously known as Project Wight where players take on the role of a creature being hunted by humans. It will be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
In Darkborn, players take on the role of an innocent creature hunted by a band of Viking-like marauders known as The Pale Enemy. These hunters torture, kill, and perform blood rituals with corpses of the Darkborn creatures. Over the course of the game you will play as multiple generations of Darkborn as you learn The Pale Enemy’s motivations and exact your revenge upon those who harmed your kin.
Both Game Informer and IGN have gone up with new previews of the game, including pre-alpha state gameplay videos.
