Control ‘World’ trailer, screenshots

Remedy Entertainment to host live stream today.

Control

Publisher 505 Games and developer Remedy Entertainment have released a new trailer and set of screenshots for supernatural action-adventure game Control introducing the game’s world.

Here is a brief overview of the game, via Remedy Entertainment:

Control is set in a unique and ever-changing world that juxtaposes our familiar reality with the strange and unexplainable. After a secretive agency in New York is invaded by an otherworldly threat, players will take on the role of Jesse Faden (Courtney Hope), the new Director struggling to regain Control. This sandbox-style, gameplay-driven experience built on the proprietary Northlight engine will challenge players to master a combination of supernatural abilities, modifiable loadouts, and reactive environments while fighting through the deep and mysterious worlds Remedy is known and loved for.

Remedy Entertainment will also host a Twitch live stream today at 8:00 a.m. PT / 11:00 a.m. ET featuring game director Mikael “Mixu” Kasurinen, lead actress Courtney Hope, Remedy communications director Thomas Puha, and Control community manager Vida Starcevic, which will offer a deeper discussion around today’s new trailer and a look at how far the game has come since its initial announcement, as well as offer viewers the chance to ask questions.

Control is due out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in 2019.
