Sega trademarks Judge Eyes and Shinigami no Yuigon in Japan

Sega Games has filed trademarks for “Judge Eyes” and “Judge Eyes Shinigami no Yuigon” (Will of the Shinigami) in Japan.

Back in July, Sega filed trademarks for “Jinx” and “Jinx Shinigami no Yuigon” alongside “New Sakura Wars.”

New Sakura Wars is the tentative title of the Sakura Wars game announced at Sega Fes 2018 back in April.

As for “Jinx” and “Jinx Shinigami no Yuigon,” while it is possible these are connected to the new Sakura Wars game, they seem more likely to be something entirely different. The newer “Judge Eyes” and “Judge Eyes Shinigami no Yuigon” trademarks might be a name change for whatever may have been previously called “Jinx,” given that they both include the “Shinigami no Yuigon” Japanese text.
