Plus a few additional system details.

New Gundam Breaker

Efreet Custom, Psychommu System Zaku, and Gundam G-Self Perfect Pack will be playable Mobile Suits in New Gundam Breaker, the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu reveals.

The magazine also has a few system details:

Strengthening the Abilities of Your Inner Frame

In New Gundam Breaker, the growth of your Inner Frame, which can be called the skeleton of your Gunpla, is essential. As you battle and battle, you will obtain “Abilities” that grow your Inner Frame. Depending on the type of Inner Frame, the abilities you can obtain will differ.

Burst Meter and Awakening

Your “Burst Meter” will increase based on your actions, such as defeating enemies. When the Burst Meter is full, you can use an Awakening. An Awakening will trigger the following effects:

  • Temporary boost to all of your stats
  • You won’t react to damage, and your durability will automatically recover
  • You can use your “Frame EX Skill,” which is a special move possessed by every Inner Frame
  • (In situations where you changed parts from your initial Gunpla during an Awakening) You can return to the Gunpla you had at the start of the battle

New Gundam Breaker is due out worldwide for PlayStation 4 and PC on June 22. In Japan, the PlayStation 4 version will launch on June 21. If you missed it yesterday, catch the latest trailer and details here.
