Gintama Rumble details Shinsuke Takasugi, Tsukuyo, Kamui, Abuto, Housen, and Blaze of Yoshiwara Chapter
Plus Weekly Jump confirms Doromizu and Saigou as boss characters.
Bandai Namco has updated the official website for Gintama Rumble with information about new playable characters Shinsuke Takasugi, Tsukuyo, and Kamui, boss characters Abuto and Housen, the story mode’s “The Blaze of Yoshiwara Chapter,” and the “Housen’s Mansion” stage. There are also new costumes for Gintoki, Kagura, and Katsura.
A dangerous character who leads the armed group known as the Kiheitai and plots terrorist actions. He is an old friend of Gintoki and Katsura, but they cut ties after the Joui War.
—Battle Style
A character with many wide-ranging vertical attacks within a continuous flowing attack. Since his attack speed is somewhat slow, you should be cautious during brawls. While his ability is of an overall high level, his HP is low, so try to take out enemies before they get too close.
Tsukuyo
Leader of Hyakka, the vigilante group that protects Yoshiwara Paradise. Her strength has earned her the name “Death God Courtesan.” She has a serious personality, but is a violent drunk when she drinks.

A character that can manage both attacks and evasion, who is characterized by her splendid kunai handling. Because she throws kunai around the end of all her attacks, by pushing the attack button with a slight shift in timing, you can aim for a continuous combo.
Kamui
A member of the Yato Tribe, as well as the captain of the space pirates Harusame’s 7th Division. He is Kagura’s older brother, but he is trying to kill their real father Umibouzu.

He has all the actions appropriate for a member of the Yato Tribe, and beats down his enemies with godspeed fists. Since he has strong aerial attacks like Kagura, you should actively aim for aerial combos. However, while his overall techniques are strong, his defense power is considerably low, so caution is necessary during battle.

Abuto
The vice captain of the space pirates Harusame’s 7th Division under the leadership of Kamui. He lost his left arm in order to stop the battle between Kamui and Housen. He is a man who has seen many things, and who has to deal with the always-violent Kamui.
Housen
The owner of Yoshiwara Paradise. He rules over Yoshiwara and is feared by all as “King of the Yato.” He is the former captain of the space pirates Harusame’s 7th Division, as well as Kamui’s master.

The Blaze of Yoshiwara Chapter
After receiving a request from a young boy named Seita, Gintoki and company visit Yoshiwara Paradise in order to meet the courtesan Hinowa. However, they hear from Yoshiwara Paradise courtesan Tsukuyo that Hinowa was captured by Housen, the “King of the Yato.” In order to rescue Hinowa and save Yoshiwara, the Yorozuya party heads for Housen’s mansion.

In addition to the official information above, the latest issue of Weekly Jump confirms that both Jirochou Doromizu and Tokumori Saigou will appear in the game as boss characters.
Gintama Rumble will launch for PlayStation 4 and PS Vita in Japan, as well as for PlayStation 4 with English subtitles in Southeast Asia, on January 18, 2018.
