Update 1:35 p.m.: Here are some more details.
16 years old. A young girl in charge of research at the Epstein Foundation’s Crossbell branch conducting research on Eion systems. After the Crossbell annexation, she temporarily returned to the Foundation’s headquarters, but decided to again return to Crossbell for the sake of her friends. While under the surveillance of the Imperial Intelligence Agency, she does her job as head of research while also working behind the scenes as a liaison.
Falcom president Toshihiro Kondo’s comments: Since she is a growing girl, she is the character with the most significant change among the members of the Special Support Section. She has a slightly mature atmosphere about her, and has also grown a bit in height. In this game, we see Tio working as head of research, as well as her interactions with other engineers. While I can’t reveal any information about weapons, given that there is a screenshot of her holding an Orbal Staff, I want you to expect her to participate in battle. This time, her Eion system has miniaturized and she does not wear a chest protector.
24 years old. A former mercenary of the Red Constellation. The instructor in charge of Class VIII: Tactics Division at Thors Military Academy Reaves II Branch School. After the Crossbell annexation, he was assigned to the Imperial Army of Erebeonia’s Crossbell Military Defense Force. He was moving forward with preparations for a resistance movement with his allies, but under the advice of a certain character goes to the Empire alone to find out the likelihood of Crossbell’s independence.
Other than Tio, there are also scenes of Randolph talking to Rean and Ash.
Toshihiro Kondo’s comments: As an instructor at Thors Military Academy Reaves II Branch School, he is deeply involved in the story from the beginning of the game. To Rean, Randolph is an older colleague, but how will Randolph connect with Rean upon learning that he and Lloyd fought? As instructor of the Tactics Division, there will be scenes where he teaches students the basics. Although he isn’t particularly acquainted with Ash, he values his high combat ability and senses. The person who gave Randolph advice has appeared in previous entries in the series and is someone who is in a position to mobilize him.
Prince Olivert Reise Arnor
29 years old. Responsible for the formation of Class VII. After the end of the Civil War, as the victor Giliath Osborne continued to invade the regions surrounding the Empire, and with the Vander family being dismissed of its employment as protection for the Imperial family, he came to understand that his authority has weakened. Knowing that Thors Military Academy has converted into a full-fledged military school, he proposes Thors Military Academy Reaves II Branch School as a last resort.
Toshihiro Kondo’s comments: The current state of the Empire is significantly unfavorable to Olivert, and the game will depict how he makes the decision to confront Osborne and take action in the midst of it. One thing is to make calls to his personal connections scattered across the Empire. It also touches upon Olivert’s upbringing and standing as a member of the Imperial family, as well as how the emperor thinks of him. There are also scenes where he acts as Olivier Lenheim.
Allows two party characters to perform a link attack after a standard attack makes the enemy lose its posture. There is also a cooperative attack called “Rush,” which consumes Brave Points (BP), and an all-party “Burst” attack.
By attacking an enemy symbol on the field, you can start the battle with the upper hand. An “Assault Attack,” in which you will are guaranteed to start the battle with an advantage, has been added. This consumes Assault Points, which build up as time passes or by destroying objects.
Toshihiro Kondo’s comments: BP is shared by Brave Orders and Combat Links, but to that extent they are easy to accumulate. Because a number of formidable foes will appear on the field, the use of Assault Attacks are important. The tactical orbment is the latest model of the Reinford Group, but new elements will also be introduced in a followup story.
