Koei Tecmo trademarks Seiken Musou in Japan

A game based on the upcoming King Arthur movie?

King Arthur: Seiken Musou

Koei Tecmo has filed a trademark for “Seiken Musou” in Japan.

In Japan, the upcoming Warner Bros. film King Arthur: Legend of the Sword is called King Arthur: Seiken Musou. The trademark from Koei Tecmo could suggest the company is working on a game based on the movie. That, of course, is only a guess. What we know as the “Warriors” series from Koei Tecmo in the west is known as “Musou” series in Japan, and “Seiken” means “Holy Sword,” so this could also be something completely different from the movie.

In other trademark-related news, Sega trademarked “RecoCro.”
