The free update will let players create teams of six from their party members or through a matchmaking feature to fight hordes of Heartless enemies and powerful bosses. Players can take on quests of increasing difficulty, as well as unique new missions. The game also adds emotes and text bubbles to help teams of friends communicate. Both familiar and new faces will appear as the story of the Unions continues to unfold, and the new “Theater Mode” will allow users to re-watch previous cutscenes.
In the west, Kingdom Hearts: Union χ will launch in April.
