NieR: Automata for PC will launch the same day as the PS4 version [Update: misinformation]

That's March 7 in North America, March 10 in Europe.

Update 12/06/16 at 12:25 p.m.: The Square Enix representative who confirmed the PC release date to PC Gamer was reportedly misinformed. NieR: Automata for PC has no firm release date on PC outside of “2017.”

Original 12/05/16 at 8:13 p.m.: The PC version of NieR: Automata will launch the same day as the PlayStation 4 version in the west – March 7 in North America and March 10 in Europe and Australia, Square Enix confirmed to PCGamer.

The PlayStation 4 release date was announced at the PlayStation Experience 2016 keynote this weekend. A press release issued by Square Enix this morning re-confirmed that release date, but listed the PC version as a general 2017 release.
