World of Final Fantasy adds male Shiva, female Ifrit, and Shantotto

Chibi Final Fantasy adds chibi black mage.

World of Final Fantasy

The latest issue of Weekly Jump has a look at two new Mirages (monsters) set to appear in World of Final Fantasy.

There’s a male version of Shiva, whose name I can only romanize at this point as Shiiva. He has a cool personality, uses powerful ice magic, and is voiced by Mamoru Miyano.

Then there’s a female version of Ifrit named Ifrita. She’s a frightening Mirage who survives by eating human souls and is voiced by Yukari Tamura.

Finally, the magazine reveals that Shantotto from Final Fantasy XI will appear in the game. She is voiced by Megumi Hayashibara. When summoned, she uses the powerful attack “Magic Burst,” which deals serious damage to a single enemy while disregarding their defenses. It also has a support effect in that it increases your party’s magic attack power.

World of Final Fantasy is due out for PlayStation 4 and PS Vita on October 25 in North America, October 27 in Japan, and October 28 in Europe.
