The Idolmaster.KR, the Korean drama based on Bandai Namco’s popular idol game series The Idolmaster, will air worldwide in early 2017 on Amazon Prime as the company’s first original Korean drama, Bandai Namco announced. It will be translated into several languages, including English and Japanese.

The live-action music drama emulates the setting of The Idolmaster series. It depicts the development, growth, and friendships of the K-Pop idols produced by a South Korean entertainment agency different from the series so far.
