Phantasy Star Online 2 for PS4 Japanese closed beta test applications now available

Sega is now accepting applicants for the PlayStation 4 closed beta of Phantasy Star Online 2.

Users can apply to join the closed beta by downloading a application ticket from the PlayStation Store. Sega will take applications until February 15. A total of 50,000 users will be selected to play and notified on or after February 19. The beta begins on February 25 and runs through March 6.

If you reach Class Levels 10, 20, and 30 in the beta, Sega will present you with a few in-game bonuses, including “Tri Boosts” and “Experience Gained” boosts. If you’re a PlayStation Plus subscriber, you’ll get one “Tri Boost +100%.”

Phantasy Star Online 2 will launch for PlayStation 4 in Japan on April 20.
