ESRB rates The Witness for Xbox One [Update]

Xbox One version likely to come after PS4 and PC.

The Witness

The Entertainment Software Rating Board has rated The Witness for Xbox One in addition to its already announced PlayStation 4 and PC versions.

The Witness is scheduled to launch for PlayStation 4 and PC on January 26. “Months after that” it is scheduled to come to iOS, according to its official website, and “a bit later” to “other platforms.”

Thanks to the rating, we can assume one of those “other platforms” is Xbox One.

Update: According Thekla founder Jonathan Blow, via Polygon, “We only put Xbox One on there because it doesn’t cost anything, and if we were to want to do an Xbox One version later, we don’t have to go through ratings again. But it is totally provisional, we have no plans for an Xbox One version right now.”
