SaGa: Scarlet Grace

Update 4:14 a.m.: Kawazu wasn’t kidding. An updated port of Romancing SaGa 2 has been announced for PS Vita, iOS, and Android.

Original 1:33 a.m.: SaGa series creator Akitoshi Kawazu has teased various developments surrounding the SaGa series as coming soon.

“We’ve done a variety of activities over the past two years for SaGa‘s 25th anniversary,” Kawazu said on Twitter. “I am grateful for all the fans’ support. Thank you all very much. As for the 25th anniversary activities, today we are breaking our silence. Since we plan to share information about the new game, remake(s), port(s), and related work(s) from now on, please keep us in mind!”

The new game Kawazu is referring to is SaGa: Scarlet Grace for PS Vita, which was announced for a 2016 release in Japan at the Tokyo Game Show in September. The remake(s) and port(s), however, we’re uncertain.
