Star Ocean 5 Pre-Order Bonuses

Square Enix has announced first-print and pre-order bonuses for Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness in Japan, as well as launched a weekly online comic series called Star Ocean 5: This and That.

First-Print Bonus

First-print copies of Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness will include a product code to download a custom BGM from Valkyrie Profile, which is also made by Star Ocean developer tri-Ace. You can set the BGM to play during battles.

Pre-Order Bonuses

Pre-order bonuses vary by retailer:

  • – “Valkyrie Ring” accessory product code (boosts ATK, INT, and Critical rate) + PlayStation 4 or PS3 theme
  • Square Enix e-Store – “Golden Bunny Statue” accessory product code (increases experience points earned and amount of Fol acquired)
  • Geo – “Onigumo Strap” accesssory product code (reduces the amount of MP consumed)

The online comic will be updated every week with a new chapter and introduce the latest Star Ocean 5‘s systems and information. Currently, chapters one, two are available, as well as a characters introduction page. Everything is chibi and cute.

Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness is due out for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 in Japan on February 25, and for PlayStation 4 in North America and Europe in 2016.
