Sega trademarks Valkyria of the Blue Revolution

New Valkyria Chronicles game on the way?

Valkyria Chronicles

Sega Games has filed a trademark for “Aoki Kakumei no Valkyria,” or “Valkyria of the Blue Revolution,” in Japan.

The trademark could suggest a new entry in the publisher’s Valkyria Chronicles series is in development.

Valkyria Chronicles, known as Senjou no Valkyria (Valkryie of the Battlefield) in Japan. was released for PlayStation 3 in 2008. Valkyria Chronicles II came out for PSP in 2010. And Valkyria Chronicles III followed for PSP again in 2011 (though the third game was never localized). In 2014, the original Valkyria Chronicles was ported to PC.
