Metal Gear Online goes live for consoles

PC version launching in January.

Metal Gear Online

Metal Gear Online, the online component of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain included with all copies of the game, is now live across PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. The PC version is due out in January.

A downloadable patch for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is already available. The online component is visible from the game’s main menu. Metal Gear Online is a squad-based competitive multiplayer game, which features Tactical Team Operations and features a ‘class system’ that defines each player’s strengths and abilities.

(Note: Metal Gear Online is being released on a rolling timeline so those in regions outside the UK may not be able to access it yet.)
