News comes via Rise of Mana collaboration trailer.

Final Fantasy Adventure

A new Final Fantasy Adventure, or Seiken Densetsu: Final Fantasy Gaiden as it’s known in Japan, is in development.

The news comes via a trailer showcasing a collaboration quest that brings Final Fantasy Adventure‘s Dark Lord and Julius into the mobile game Rise of Mana as boss enemies. The trailer ends with a screen showcasing the Japanese Final Fantasy Adventure logo and the text “Production Decided.” Further details, including platform(s), have not been announced.

Final Fantasy Adventure is the first spin-off in the Mana series and launched for Game Boy in 1991. It was released in Europe under the name Mystic Quest.
